*The Child Development Associate Credential is a national credential earned through the Council for Professional Recognition.

This credential can be earned as a family/group home child provider, a center-based infant/toddler provider or as a center-based preschool provider.

This class is for those already working toward their CDA Credential and need help preparing a professional portfolio.  This hands-on class helps to build your Professional Portfolio.  Come learn and begin compiling the required resources, sample materials, competency statements, the nine learning experiences, parent questionnaires, and more! Bring your Competency Standards Book and training certificates and transcripts completed.

Upon Completion of the CDA 120+ class students will have:

  1. Documentation of 120 hours completed

  2. 6 Competency Statements written

  3. All Resource Collection Items for the Professional Portfolio

2 Class Options:

Option 1: CDA 120+ Hybrid (Classroom plus homework) Beginning October 4, 2018. 
Classes meet on Thursdays (6:00 - 9:00 pm) at our office.

Option 2: CDA 120+ Correspondence (through mail or email) available anytime. 
Participants have up to one year to complete the class.
